Squawk Box Kiddy Valentine Cards

A new Korean restaurant opened here a few weeks ago and we were excited to try it out. The food was AWESOME! (Seriously, 5 stars on Yelp!) Even awesomer was that it was located 2 doors down from the Dollar Tree so I had a good excuse ("Shall we go in and walk off dinner?" ) to sneak in.

Not 2 minutes inside the store and my 3rd Grader spotted the last box of Frozen Valentines. Really?! She's still into that?!!! Urgh.

My kiddo has special powers that can overcome my resistance to buy things for her. I just can't bring myself to say "No" whenever she goes "Pleaseeeeeeeee Mommiiiiiiiieeee!" . It wasn't long before I found myself at the checkout paying for the cards for her.

2 weeks later, LD released the Squawk Box.

I love the collection so much! The art, the colors, the greetings. Everything about the collection is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!!

The twins have previously decided that they want to give out the Cup Characters to their classmates so I don't really have a reason to make these Kiddy Valentines. Still, I can't help it so I printed and cut them out anyway. I was admiring the cards when my baby girl crept up behind me.

"Mom! These are soooooooooo cute!!!"

Hehe....I guess somebody is not giving out Frozen Valentines after all.

  1. Jin - thanks so much for this post! Valentines that are boy friendly (it's so hard to be a paper crafty mama with only boys around) and a thumbs up for a Korean place just down the street?!? Yaaayyyy!!
